Biography

Summary

Dr. Daiyuu Nobori (born in Hyogo, Japan on 17 November 1984) is a software engineer and an entrepreneur. His development and research interests include systems software such as Virtual Private Network (VPN), distributed systems, and security. He entered University of Tsukuba in 2003 and started up a company, SoftEther Corporation in 2004. He acquired a Ph.D. degree at the Department of Computer Science, University of Tsukuba in 2017. He has been an associate professor at University of Tsukuba since April 2017. In SoftEther Corporation, he has developed SoftEther VPN, a cross-platform multi-protocol VPN program, made it public for free, and opened its source code in 2014.

    My research in University of Tsukuba. A well-known VPN relay service. You can get through your government's firewall to browse restricted websites, and disguise your IP address to hide your identity while surfing the Internet.

    My research in University of Tsukuba. SoftEther VPN Project develops and distributes SoftEther VPN, An Open-Source Free Cross-platform Multi-protocol VPN Program,
  8. "Win10Pcap" (open source)
    Win10Pcap is a new WinPcap-based Ethernet packet capture library. Unlike original WinPcap, Win10Pcap is compatible with the NDIS 6.x driver model. Win10Pcap works stably with Windows 10. Win10Pcap has the binary-compatibility with the original WinPcap DLLs. You can run Wireshark or other WinPcap-compatible applications with Win10Pcap by simply installing Win10Pcap DLLs, instead of original WinPcap.
